​As a young, hopeful musician, bassist, I had to learn very quickly how difficult it was going to be for me to protect my beloved bass guitar. A professional musician of five years, my journey began 12 years ago; it took me moments to realize the sparsely protective default bags were not an option. Sure, I could invest in a “good” bag, but not only were those heavy, they were also beyond what I could reasonably afford as a struggling artist trying to make it on my own. Not carrying my instrument was obviously impossible, so I did the next best thing. As someone who has never shied away from grit and hard-work, much like with my career, I stopped fishing in the limited pond offered to me and started working on what I wanted. The process was long, tedious, but through the mixing and matching of countless materials, I found the perfect combination. Light weight, extremely padded, and most of all, affordable, my bags were perfect to take my bass to practices and gigs with zero concern.
